My Strange Addiction

I went to Target today to get some bins for my purse business and I walked out with yet another day planner/organizer. I knew that I already had one but I thought that this one was a bit different and would suit me better. I do this all the time! I get a planner, fill it up and then get itching for a new one. Why do I do this? I'm sure it speaks volumes about me right? I like to make plans and ideas for things and then as soon as I am all set, I have to start all over and change everything. I'm such a dork

I'm at the grounds for coffee getting prepared for my next Paparazzi/Purse party and there are a couple of interesting dudes by me. They have been going on for a half an hour about how they sell their food stamp cards for cash and other ways they "eff the man". It's very frustrating to hear how people take advantage of our welfare system because people assume that is the norm and it gives everyone else a bad rap. When Isaac was  little and I was doing the single mom thing, we had to use state assistance to get by. I was working full time and still didn't make enough to meet all of our needs. It pisses me off because just about everyone I know has something bad to say about people on state assistance and THESE TWO A-HOLES are why!

Anywho, my sister-in-law hosted a party for me today and I did pretty well. Best part was that I booked two more parties from this one. She is such a sweetheart. Now I have to restock. Fun!

Oooh Shiny Syndrome

I haven't blogged in a bit because I have been distracted, yet again. I will get to that later. We took Daphne in for her head ultrasound and everything went well. She does have a bit of fluid on her brain but not enough to cause any damage and it should go away on it's own. The doctor said that some kids just don't absorb it as quickly as others. I am sooo relieved! She has been doing pretty well. I think she has started teething because she drools like crazy and has been wanting to chew on something constantly. Even so, she is such good and happy baby girl.

Isaac has been doing well too. He is doing great in school and still continues to have lots of friends around our apartment complex. He did get in a bit of trouble last week but I am hoping that we have worked it out. He left for school at 7:30 (school doesn't start until 9) so that he could play. He didn't ask me and I woke up to him being gone. I went to the bus stop and he wasn't there. His Dad went to his school to see if he walked early and he wasn't there either. We were so worried that he hap been kidnapped. Thankfully he turned up at the apartments. Phew

I had my first boutique on Saturday where I sold my purses www.facebook.com/riccithebaghag and was able to sell a few. It was good to have the experience and trial and error of setting up a display. While I was there, I got hooked on my friends booth for Paparazzi Jewelry http://www.paparazziricci.blogspot.com/ and have decided to add that to my bag of tricks. I'm pretty excited because i think it will be a great compliment to my handbags and the jewelry is soooo cute. Did I mention it's just $5? I even booked my first boutique December 2&3rd.

So now it's time for my shameless plug for my new stuff. Paparazzi has headbands, necklaces, rings, bracelets etc. for just $5. This stuff is really, really cute too. If you would be willing to give me a couple hours of your time by hosting a party/open house, I would be genuinely grateful and heart you forever. You would also get 2 free items of your choice. I would bring the stuff to show and your friends can take it home, no orders needed. If you set it up as an open house rather than a party, they can just come and go as they please within a 2 hour block. Let me know if you could do this for me or know anyone. *kisses*

I will try to be better at keeping up with my little blog, I just get so easily distracted. I get excited over something and then quickly move on to the next thing. I feel like I need to keep busy though. It's weird not having to work (Thank you DH) and I feel a need to be moving, so to speak. Once we are settled in a place I would like to do daycare at home but until then, I need projects people!

That's it for now. Thoughts? Suggestion?

Much Love,
Kinetic Wife

Love me some Skype

I got to skype with the hubby today and I am so very grateful for it. He got to see how big his baby girl is getting and hear her cop a bit of an attitue because she was tired. I haven't seen his face since he left and it's so nice. I miss him so much. While seeing him was awesome, it did make me miss him even more. I want to hold him and smooch him so bad! I love my hubby so so so much! I can't believe it's a free service, it's the bestest y'all.

Other things going on today...I've been updating my purse page on the facebooks www.facebook.com/riccithebaghag and am having fun with it. I am really happy with the bags and I think my friends and fam are too. I was also looking at my nephew Bronsons wrestling videos. We went and saw him the other night and it was a lot of fun. While I really enjoyed watching the wresting, I have to say that I equally enjoyed watching the crowd. It was a very ecclectic bunch and tons of fun.

After I finish up here at the coffee shop, I will go to the walmart and get some pictures and pick up stuff for my hubby's next package. Isaac is so cute about sending him things. He makes his own comic strips that he sends with our stuff. He misses hubby too. I can't wait until we are all together again. I love my family more than anything. What a lucky, happy, blessed, fortunate, spoiled lady I am.

ISAAC IS AWESOME!

I asked Isaac what I should blog about today and his response was "Isaac is awesome!!!" So here we go...

Isaac is awesome because he is so smart! He loves to read, he's doing great in school and he is telling me something new he's learned every day. He is so creative and imaginative. He is also such a compassionate  and helpful little boy. He loves his sister so much and I couldn't have asked for a better brother for her. I've caught him giving her kisses on her nose and when we are out, he loves to show her off. He is such a great kid! He is so good at making friends and he's my little social butterfly. Whenever we go to the coffee shop, he runs into lots of people he knows. I am so proud of him.

You know what else? My Daphne is awesome too. She's trying so hard to sit up whenever she's laying down. She has learned how to make spit bubbles and she yells to hear her own voice. Her little personality is unfolding everyday. She is so laid back and hardly ever causes a fuss. She doesn't even cry really, just squawks a bit if it's really important.

Also awesome-
Jeans that fit just right
Vanilla cinnamon lattes
Friends you can talk about anything with
My Nook
Gluten free bakeries
Dishwashers
Hoodies that zip up
Daphne's stretches when she first wakes up
Chile Rellenos
Married Life
Half price coffee refills
Isaac during our bedtime routine (this includes him saying "amen" after prayers for Merrill, Daphne and Daisy)

stress makes me icky

Today was so great until I got ready to leave the house. I was changing Daphne's bottom because she had one of those that shoots up the back of her diaper. While changing her, she starts up again and poops allover my hand and her blanket. I finally get her clean and we are ready to take Isaac to karate. The thing is, he'd been complaining the entire time that he didn't want to go and doesn't like karate anymore. Daphne starts crying because I've put her in her carseat and she tired. Daisy then starts yelping. The kind that make you cringe. Grrr.
We are loaded up and I take Isaac to his class. I figure that I will hit the coffee shop and relax a bit while he's there. Daphne has finally fallen asleep and I'm really looking forward to some caffeine. I get to the coffee shop and it is closed for a company party. I try the one down the road and they're closed too. It's 6:15 WTF? I end up going to Starbucks...meh. I stopped at smiths after that to pick up a few things and began checking out at the self checkout isle. I accidently rang one up twice so I needed help from the cashier. I'm in a foul mood by this time and just wanna get the hell our of there. The cashier is a younger guy who says "Sorry, but you'll have to buy another one. I can't take them off". He grins and gives me a light elbow side. I'm in a very negative place. Stressed. Frustrated. All I could think about is kicking him in his ball sack.
