Home Again

Me and the Kiddo are at our favorite coffee shop having smoothies and doing schoolwork. It is so nice to be home and able to see our family and friends. Unfortunately, the Hubby is gone for training so things aren't quite perfect. Wouldn't it be great to have it all?

We are adjusting to staying with my Mom. We brought our dog and it has made things interesting. We keep her outside for the most part and in her kennel at night. She has started howling to be let in and my Mom gives in almost immediately. This has lead to a very bad habit. Yesterday, I bought a no bark collar that sprays lemon scent up at her nose when she makes noise. This thing is amazing!! She stopped right away and has been as quiet as a mouse. Kiddo has been very amused and laughs hysterically whenever it goes off. She runs away and looks all over the place trying to find out where its coming from. Last night, she sneezed and set it off and then the spray made her sneeze again which made it spray again. Poor thing, I felt bad and gave her a break. I must say that this is an excellent invention though.

I am really loving the little things I had missed so much in Alaska. Being able to have coffee with friends, family close by, sunshine!!! It's been snowy but sunny and is just perfect here. So, that's about it kids.
